The laminator is quiet everywhere. School ID badges, restaurant menus, retail price cards, hospital wristbands, and millions of pharmaceutical labels all pass through one before they reach the people who use them. It is one of the most underappreciated machines in the printing supply chain. Vizlent Label Materials Co has manufactured pressure-sensitive laminating film and […]

If you’re wondering where is the lot number on a prescription bottle, you can find it on the standard prescription bottle, usually on manufacturer’s original label. It is usually located right below or next to the expiration date, close to the National Drug Code (NDC) or near the barcode. Vizlent supplies the pressure-sensitive label stock […]

Pharmaceutical labels are important in the health industry because they are the last instruction layer between a manufacturer and a patient. A pill bottle without a label is a hazard, and a vial whose serialization barcode rubs off in transit is a recall waiting to happen. The pharmaceutical industry runs on small printed surfaces that […]

To label cables in a data center, build a naming convention from the room grid down to the port, print machine-generated identifiers on both ends of every cable, choose a wrap, flag, or sleeve format matched to the cable diameter, and use materials rated for hot-aisle temperatures and handling. The TIA-606 administration standard supplies the […]

Industrial Process Water Pipe Markers for Piping are used to identify properties, contents and fluid flow direction in piping. You can find them attached to pipes throughout a worksite or facility. Vizlent manufactures it in continuous roll form on weatherable vinyl with UV-stable inks and a permanent acrylic adhesive, rated from -30 to 80 degrees […]

Durable pipe labels and identification help communicate what a pipe carries, how hazardous its contents may be, and which direction the material flows. They use a combination of colors, text, symbols, and placement conventions to make piping systems easier to understand and safer to operate. While specific requirements vary by country, industry, and facility, the […]

The top requirements for chemical labels generally include a product identifier, signal word, hazard statements, precautionary statements, hazard pictograms, and supplier information. These elements help communicate hazards clearly and support the safe handling, storage, transport, and use of chemical products. While regulations vary by region, most chemical labeling systems follow the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), […]

To create business labels for products, follow eight steps: design the layout around the actual container, check the surface, choose the facestock, match the adhesive to the package, size and shape, pick the print method, confirm compliance, and apply with validated samples first. Each step constrains the next, which is why a label specified in […]

The label for recommended tire pressure sits on the driver’s side door jamb on nearly every modern vehicle, with the glove box door, fuel filler flap, and owner’s manual covering older models. Its figures are cold inflation pressures set by the vehicle maker, and they are the numbers a tire should actually run at. Every […]

Pressure sensitive label materials are the facestock, adhesive, and release liner layers that combine into a label stock bonding to surfaces through light pressure alone, with no heat, water, or solvent needed to activate it. The facestock carries the print, the pressure sensitive adhesive forms the bond, and the liner protects that adhesive until the […]
