Static Dissipative Labels In PCB Labeling Features
Vizlent Static Dissipative Labels in PCB labeling are purpose-built for in-process traceability on printed circuit boards.
The labels combine a high-temperature polyimide face with an ESD-safe coating, so they can be applied to bare boards before assembly and travel through reflow ovens, wave solder, and aqueous cleaning without lifting, charring, or losing scannability.
By keeping surface resistance in the dissipative range, these PCB labels protect sensitive ICs from electrostatic damage during handling.
Compact sizes such as 6×3 mm and 8×4 mm fit easily on densely populated boards, and high-resolution thermal transfer print supports tight 2D barcodes for serial number traceability.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We routinely produce static dissipative PCB labels as small as 6×3 mm and can tighten further depending on your applicator capability. Roll formats, core sizes, and labels-per-row are all customized to match automatic label dispensers.
Yes. The polyimide face and reflow-rated acrylic adhesive are validated to withstand standard SAC305 reflow profiles peaking around 260°C. Labels stay flat, the print remains scannable, and adhesion increases slightly after the thermal cycle.
Typical MOQ is 5,000 pieces given the small label size. Lead time is 10–14 working days after artwork and material approval. VIZLENT supports faster turnaround for repeat SKUs already in our system.
A regular insulative label sitting on a PCB can accumulate charge during handling and discharge into sensitive components, causing latent failures. Our dissipative labels keep charge bleeding off in a controlled way, protecting ICs and MOSFETs during assembly, test, and shipping.
Yes. VIZLENT supplies the labels on rolls with controlled liner release force, tight pitch tolerance, and consistent thickness, which is essential for inline applicators and pick-and-place dispensers used in SMT lines.
