Automotive Engine Compartment Labels Harsh Environment Resistant Labels Features
Vizlent Automotive Engine Compartment Labels are designed as harsh environment resistant labels for permanent identification on emission control plates, fluid warnings, service decals, and component tags inside the engine bay.
The construction combines a high-temperature film, a chemical-resistant topcoat, and a thermosetting adhesive that retains shear strength after repeated heat cycles between sub-zero starts and 150°C peak operation.
These engine compartment labels are tested for salt fog, humidity, UV, and mechanical vibration to confirm durability over a 5 to 10 year service life. The face stock is flexible enough to conform to curved manifolds and reservoirs without lifting at the edges.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. VIZLENT works from your CAD drawings or artwork files to produce engine compartment labels in any shape, size, color, and material grade. We support multi-color screen printing, thermal transfer variable data, and laser-marked metallic versions.
Our harsh environment resistant labels are built for a 5 to 10 year service life under sustained 150°C cycling and short peaks to 220°C. Accelerated aging tests confirm the print, color, and adhesive remain stable across these conditions.
MOQ is 1,000 pieces per design and standard lead time is 10 to 15 working days. For large OEM programs we offer kanban delivery schedules and consigned inventory at our warehouse to keep your line supplied.
We test adhesive performance per ISO 16750 vibration profiles and SAE J1455 thermal shock cycles. The selected acrylic or silicone adhesive maintains shear and peel strength after thousands of cycles without edge lift or label migration.
Yes. The polyimide and high-temp PET grades accept CO2 and fiber laser marking for permanent serial numbers and 2D codes. Labels are supplied on rolls calibrated for automated applicators or robotic placement systems.
