Customized Wine Bottle Labels
Customized Wine Bottle Labels represent one of the most brand-critical touchpoints in the wine industry. As the primary driver of consumer purchase decisions at retail and on-premise, a wine label must simultaneously communicate varietal character, estate prestige, regulatory compliance information, and brand narrative—all within a compact format applied to a curved glass substrate.
Vizlent manufactures these labels using high-wet-strength natural and synthetic papers, as well as clear and white film substrates, enabling both the traditional aesthetic of European fine wine and the graphic-forward style favored by New World brands.
Adhesive performance is critical: our wine-cellar-rated acrylic systems are tested for peel adhesion to glass at temperatures from –5 °C (wine cellar) to +20 °C (room temperature), and for resistance to ice-bucket immersion of at least one hour without edge lifting or graphic degradation. Labels are supplied in die-cut roll or sheet format, compatible with both automated winery labeling equipment and hand-application in boutique cellar-door operations.

Frequently Asked Questions
We offer a broad range of substrates including natural high-wet-strength papers, laid and textured papers for traditional estate looks, clear and white BOPP films for modern or no-label-look styles, and metalized film for premium reflective effects. Print finishes available include gloss and matte lamination, soft-touch matte, hot-stamp foil (gold, silver, rose gold, holographic), embossing, debossing, spot UV varnish, and die-cutting to any shape. Multiple effects can be combined on a single label.
Our wine-cellar adhesive constructions are tested by immersing labeled bottles in an ice-water bath for a minimum of one hour and inspecting for edge lifting, bubbling, or print degradation on removal. VIZLENT’s standard wine label adhesive passes this test on standard and lightly frosted glass. For extended service in ice or high-moisture environments, we recommend our enhanced-tack ice-bucket construction, which can be specified at the quotation stage.
Yes. We regularly produce matched label sets comprising front body labels, back information labels, neck labels, and foil collar seals in coordinated designs. Each label in a set is produced on the same or coordinated substrate and finish so that color and tactile consistency is maintained across the complete bottle presentation. Sets can be supplied as separate rolls or interleaved for sequential application on automated equipment.
Standard MOQ for wine bottle labels is 1,000 labels per design, which allows us to amortize tooling for die-cutting and any special finishing effects. Digital short-run production is available from 250 labels per design for new-vintage proofing or limited releases. Lead time is typically 10–18 business days from final artwork sign-off, with foil-stamped or embossed labels at the longer end of that range due to additional finishing stages.
VIZLENT supplies customized wine bottle labels wound on rolls to your machine specifications, including core diameter, maximum roll OD, label pitch, and wind direction (face-in or face-out). Our dimensional tolerances and consistent liner release values ensure reliable dispensing on rotary, wrap-around, and front-and-back labeling systems at typical winery line speeds. We recommend sharing your labeling machine model during the quotation stage so our team can confirm roll format compatibility.
