Standard inkjet ink is water-based and sits on top of the label, meaning it can smear if exposed to heavy moisture, steam, or handling.

Yes. When printed with a laser printer, both the toner and the heavy-duty polyester material can easily withstand the scalding hot water, steam, and high pressure of commercial dishwashers, as well as the heat generated by microwaves.
While the permanent adhesive is incredibly strong, heavy-duty heat-resistant polyester is slightly stiffer than standard paper. For very tight curves (like a small lip balm tube), we recommend designing your label so that the ends overlap slightly. The adhesive bonds exceptionally well to itself, ensuring the edges won’t lift.
Yes! If you need to hand-write batch numbers, expiration dates, or specific scent names, you can easily write on the surface using a permanent marker (like a Sharpie). Please allow a few seconds for the marker ink to dry completely to prevent smudging before handling.
