Low-temperature Resistant Label for Biological and Medical Experiments Features
Low-temperature Resistant Labels for Biological and Medical Experiments are constructed from a flexible polypropylene or polyester facestock bonded with a specially compounded acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive selected for its retention of peel strength and shear resistance at temperatures as low as -80°C in standard ultra-low freezers.
The facestock’s mechanical properties are matched to the coefficient of thermal expansion of common plasticware substrates—polypropylene, polyethylene, and polycarbonate—reducing the differential stress at the label-to-substrate interface that causes peeling during freeze-thaw transitions. This engineering ensures that labels applied at room temperature remain bonded after the sample is transferred to cold storage, maintaining traceability without requiring cold-application procedures.
In biological and medical experimental settings, sample identification errors carry direct safety and scientific validity risks. VIZLENT low-temperature resistant labels are designed to eliminate label-originated identification failures by providing a stable, readable surface across the temperature range encountered during typical experimental workflows, from ambient handling through ultra-low freezer storage and back.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. VIZLENT provides fully customized label layouts incorporating experiment-specific data fields, color-coded backgrounds, barcode or QR code sections, institutional logos, and hazard or GHS symbol zones. We can supply blank labels for in-house thermal transfer printing or produce pre-printed runs to your exact layout specification.
Our standard biological experiment label grade maintains reliable adhesion from -80°C through +80°C, covering the full range of typical ultra-low freezer and standard laboratory storage conditions. A cryogenic-grade variant extends performance to -196°C for liquid nitrogen applications. Both grades sustain adhesion through repeated freeze-thaw cycling without delamination or print loss.
Our MOQ is 1,000 labels per item. Standard lead time is 7–15 business days from artwork approval. VIZLENT can accommodate phased delivery schedules for research programs with ongoing labeling requirements, and we recommend establishing a blanket order arrangement for institutions consuming labels across multiple experimental series.
Yes. VIZLENT low-temperature resistant labels are resistant to biological growth media, enzyme buffers, saline solutions, ethanol, isopropanol, and standard histological fixatives. The adhesive retains its bond integrity under exposure to aqueous and mild solvent conditions commonly encountered in cell culture, microbiology, and molecular biology workflows.
Our labels are engineered for compatibility with standard laboratory thermal transfer printers including models from Zebra, Honeywell, and Datamax-O’Neil. For optimal print durability in sub-zero environments, we recommend resin or near-resin ribbon formulations. VIZLENT can advise on ribbon selection and printer settings to achieve the best print permanence for your specific storage conditions.
