Magnetic label materials can be made of various types of base materials such as rubber (ferrite based), PVC, and Neodymium (NdFeB) composite.
We manufacture our rubber magnetic sheets by means of precision calendering and extrusion in order to create a flexible magnetic sheet using isotropic ferrite loaded compounds. We make flexible magnetic sheeting from 0.4 mm to 5 mm gauge; we also support continuous roll production which enables high volume slitting, die cutting and laminating for both label converters and OEM customers all over the world.
The PVC magnetic label stock is created using a lamination/calendering method to bond a printable white or matte finish PVC or face layer on top of a flexible ferrite magnetically charged backing. The combination of these two layers creates a rigid and stable print ready substrate that works well with thermal transfer labels, uv ink jet printed labels, and screen printed labels for industrial label uses.
The Neodymium magnetic label material is created by sintering, bonding and compression molding. Our bonded NdFeB sheet has a much stronger pull force per millimeter compared to our standard rubber magnetic sheet, therefore, it is the best choice for heavy duty asset tags, rack labeling and precise magnetic assemblies in which holding power is very important.
